Official UTOPIAN RUINS

It's been a while since our last update, so here it is!!

First off, we would like to thank our former guitarist and drummer Gary Fox and Cozzy Cosgrave for there time and efforts with us. They we're two key members in helping get the band of the ground and will be missed. They remain good friends with all of us and left due to there own personel reasons!!
We love em and wish them the very best in everything they do in the future!!

But the show must go on and Utopian Ruins are back in action, we have filled our empty drum stool with the new guy, Dave Cashen. We're very excited about working with Dave from this point on, rehearsals have started back and we're working very hard.

Our recording plans have not changed and pre-production on our debut album begins this week. Over the next 2-3 months the recording will take place and we hope to have the LP released by spring time. We'll have some album demo tracks uploaded before xmas for ye to sample and get a taste of whats to come. Also the album title will be released shortly.

As for the live shows? these will begin back in the New Year, with shows in currently been booked, more to follow on this... we can't bleeding wait!!!!

We would like to take this oppertunity to thanks all of the drummers who we're interested and thanks for taking the time and effort. It was much appriciated!!

2009 has been an up & down for this band, we played some great shows with some great bands and we've had our fare share of bad luck...

But the new line up is in place and it's time to focus on securing some stability and releasing a LP we can be proud of.
We're continuing on as a 4-piece and for now its practise, practise, practise!!
